Course Schedule (example)

eWeb

There are various ways to get to eWeb. One is through the University homepage » Current Students. On the following page, you will see eWeb Online. When you click on it you will go to the page below.

This web page is your access to many of the services you will need as a student. You will need your student ID number and email address provided in your letter from admissions. When you log in, you will click on Pin to get instructions for creating your pin number.

From eWeb you can view courses, register for courses, apply for admissions, view general information on Admisions and Financial Aid, in addition to viewing other informaton important to your educational career at Eastern.

Below is how to view courses when within eWeb and also how to register for them.

Viewing your Course(s) through eWeb (Viewing is OPEN TO ALL)

With eWeb you can view live updated undergraduate course schedules including seat availability.

  1. Proceed to eWeb.
  2. Select the term you would like to view.
  3. Then click the “Submit” button.
  4. To view the entire Course Schedule, go to the 3rd selection down and click on “Both”from the “(O)pen/(C)lose” option; then scroll to the bottom and click “Class Search”.
  5. To view specific courses, enter the 3 letter subject code and 3 digit course number; then select “Both” from the “(O)pen/(C)lose” option and proceed by pressing the [ENTER] key or click the “Class Search” button.
NOTE: In searching for courses on eWeb, before clicking “Class Search” it is important that you select “both” rather than “open”. If there are seats in “Reserve (RSV)” in the course you are interested in, please call the Office of Continuing Studies and Enhanced Learning for assistance: (860) 465-0206. You may need approval to enroll in this course.

 

Registering for your Course(s) through eWeb (EWeb Registration open to students with Eastern ID#)

With eWeb you can view and register live updated undergraduate course schedules including seat availability.

  1. Proceed to eWeb.
  2. Click “Login” and proceed by providing your Eastern ID# and PIN.
  3. Click “Student Services”.
  4. Click “Lookup Classes”.
  5. “Select Term” and then Click “Submit”.
  6. To view the entire Course Schedule, go to the 3rd selection down and click on “Both”from the “(O)pen/(C)lose” option; then scroll to the bottom and click “Class Search”.
  7. To view specific courses, enter the 3 letter subject code and 3 digit course number; then select “Both”from the “(O)pen/(C)lose” option and proceed by pressing the [ENTER] key or click the “Class Search” button.
  8. Select course(s) using check box.
  9. Click “Register” or “Add to Worksheet” then register.
NOTE: In searching for courses on eWeb, before clicking “Class Search” it is important that you select “both” rather than “open”. EasternOnline

EasternOnline is the University’s distance learning environment. Class is in session wherever you have access to the Internet. Students and faculty do not need to log in at the same time. The sharing of knowledge with regular interaction through the WebCT Vista learning platform is facilitated by the use of chat rooms, discussions, e-mail and other tools.
