Important Information for our Graduating Seniors!

If you are a senior intending to graduate this December 2016 and haven’t completed and handed in your Application for Degree and registered for Fall courses, do so as soon as possible!  Schedule an appointment with your advisor today–Call 860-465-0206 or email  Those that graduated in December 2016 can also graduate at the May commencement. If you will have fulfilled the necessary requirements for a degree by the close of the Spring semester and are intending on graduating in May 2017, you will need to complete and hand in  the Application for Degree by October 14th.

Registration For Part-Time Students

Wintersession Registration is open to students & the public on Oct. 5th.

Here are the dates Eastern students are able to start registering for Spring courses, based upon class standing:

Senior (90 credits & higher) October 10th.
Junior (60-89.5 credits) October 17thSophomore (30-59.5 credits) October 24th
Freshman (0-29.5 credits) November 7th
Non-matriculated students and the public -December 27th

View the course lists. There is still time to register for Fall, including the 2nd 7-week courses. Please, do so before the courses you need are filled.

For Groton, please, contact Stanley Beckford at (860) 446-9457. Open House every 2nd and 4th Tuesday from 6-7 pm. Please, phone Dr. Beckford to reserve a seat. If you can’t make a Tuesday, ask for a special appointment!

All part time students applying for admission must fulfill the university’s health requirements. Part Time students must submit evidence of measles (rubeola), German measles (rubella), and the tuberculosis risk assessment. All part time students need to complete the Tuberculosis Risk Assessment and provide documentation of TB risk. Part time students will need to fill out and return this Immunization form to the health services.

Eastern Connecticut State University has teamed with TuitionPay to offer you the TuitionPay Monthly Payment Plan. The plan is interest-free and allows you to spread your tuition and fees over a number of months.

The plan does not cover Wintersession terms, but may cover Summer. Check with TuitionPay. Your TuitionPay Monthly Plan should be established as early as possible for smaller, more manageable monthly payments. If you enroll in the plan after it has started, you must make up the necessary back payments.

Sign up today for “Eastern Alert,” the new emergency notification system. It will be used only for notifying you of campus emergencies (weather closings, hazardous chemical spills, fires, and other clear threats to campus safety). You can receive notifications via text messages, voice mail, email, and other means. (IMPORTANT NOTE: you don’t need text messaging or even a cell phone to get notifications: you can also have notifications sent to your e-mail, land line phones, PDAs, etc.)
