The scores that appear in this sample are the credit-granting scores recommended by the American Council  on Education  (ACE) and accepted by Eastern.

English Composition with Essay is the ONLY CLEP exam that fulfills ECSU’s English 100 College Writing requirement.

Students will receive CLEP credit only if they do not already have equivalent freshmen level/100-level composition credits on their transcript.  If the prior credit award for 100-level English Composition courses or tests is less than six credits, the CLEP credit award will be applied to equal six credits.

Not acceptable as PSY 300 for Psychology majors.  Psychology majors will be given credit for PSY 2XX.
