Collegiate Health Service Corps at Pride Corner Farms
Collegiate Health Service Corps (CHSC) aims to engage and educate youth and adults about healthy issues and practices such as healthy eating, hygiene and exercise. The program also exposes volunteers to health careers. Pride Corner Farm is a family owned regional plant and flowers farm. CHSC will be providing health education for their workers who are predominantly Spanish speakers during their lunch break. Lessons will be implemented in Spanish. This program is looking for volunteers that have some Spanish speaking skills or are fluent in Spanish. The program is on Tuesdays and leaves Eastern around 11:15am and is expected to return to campus around 12:45pm.
