Professional Associations

National Association of Colleges & Employers (NACE) – NACEWeb is the web site for career counseling and HR/staffing professionals who belong to the National Association of Colleges and Employers. Since 1995, NACE has used its web site to offer timely information on the college employment market, connect members to important statistics and data, and help practitioners establish important professional networks. Because of this, NACEWeb is the Internet’s most trusted source of professional information for the career services and human resources professions.
National Society for Experiential Education(NSEE) – NSEE is a nonprofit membership association of educators, businesses, and community leaders. Founded in 1971, NSEE also serves as a national resource center for the development and improvement of experiential education programs nationwide. NSEE supports the use of learning through experience for: intellectual development, cross-cultural and global awareness, civic and social responsibility, ethical development, career exploration and personal growth.

Eastern Association of Colleges & Employers (EACE) – EACE is the largest regional college / employer network with approximately 1200 members representing 817 colleges, 258 employers, and 27 associates from Maine to Virginia.

New England Association for Cooperative Education and Field Experience (NEACEFE) – NEACEFE is an association which promotes the development and expansion of experiential education programs within New England high schools, colleges, and universities and the employers of their students.

Connecticut Cooperative Education and Internship Association (CCEIA) – The Connecticut Cooperative Education and Internship Association (CCEIA) includes two and four year colleges and universities with active experiential learning programs including Cooperative Education and Internships, and a demonstrated commitment to matching employers with qualified students. Our member professionals are among the most experienced in the country. They benefit from on-going training and development programs sponsored by the association.

Connecticut Career Counseling and Development Association (CCCDA) – The purpose of the CCCDA shall be to promote a greater understanding of the meaning of work and careers, to foster career development over the life span, and to establish, support, and improve standards for professional service in the field of career guidance and counseling in Connecticut.

Internship Resources

Intern Bridge: assists employers in creating an internship program
