  Resume Writing & Interview Preparation Workshop Schedule

Resume writing and interview preparation workshops are held to help students create quality resumes that match their students' abilities, skills, and experiences in the best possible light for particular career positions or career paths.

Resume Writing Workshops are sponsored by various Department of Business Administration related clubs such as:

  • AMA - American Marketing Association
  • AITP - Association of Information Technology Professionals
  • Eastern Accounting Society
  • and other business related student organizations

These workshops are provided with the help and staff assistance of Eastern's Office of Career Services.

What to Bring to the Workshop:

  • Draft Resume (paper and/or electronic copy)
  • Experiential Learning Tool in Business or Advising Key Planner in Blackboard
  • Transcript and/or Degree Evaluation Form (E-Web Services)
  • Description of jobs for which you want to apply

Business Card - Suggestions:

On your business cards, be sure to have your name, the general type of position you are looking for (discipline, career path, fulltime or internship/co-op) your major(s), minor(s) and concentrations(s) and GPA averages if over 3.0. You may briefly summarize some of your key skill sets, experiences and awards on the backside of the business card – but leave some space for the organization representative to add some notes of their own about talking with you or your project exhibit.
