Spring 2011 Project:
For a long time the Windham Regional No-Freeze Hospitality Center had no website to direct individuals in need of overnight shelter or those trying to assist them to the No-Freeze Shelter. Plus, there was no way for No Freeze staff and volunteers to seek out additional help and donation or announce upcoming donation and fund-raising events. A Spring 2011 BIS 377 team designed and built a database driven website for the No-Freeze shelter so that staff members and volunteers can quickly without technical assistance post changes on service availability dates and hour as well as announce upcoming special fundraising and informational events. The site also facilities online donations and enables people to learn more about volunteering.
