Spring 2011 Project:
For about a decade, Willimantic's Holy Family Home and Shelter has had a basic information website. Providing information on the basic services provided by the shelter and how to contact them. However, information on upcoming events, specific services being offered and other resources available through the shelter was not provided on the website nor was website content easily updateable by nontechnical volunteers and staff. A Spring 2011 BIS 377 team designed a more web-visitor friendly database driven website that is easily updateable and maintainable by the non-tech savvy staff and volunteers at Holy Family.
