Dr. Villanueva has an extensive worldwide teaching
and business experience. He has taught at the
University level in Argentina, France and Spain, and
was a Business Faculty for 7 years in Dubai for the
public college system of the United Arab Emirates.
During his professional career, he managed a winery
in Spain and another in Argentina, and was the
Export Area Manager for Latin America and the Middle
East for a Catalan multinational company. Dr.
Villanueva speaks three languages fluently and has
traveled to 40 different countries. He is a
permanent member of the AUIV/OIV (International Wine
Organization) and a wine business expert. His
research on international wine trade and business
has been published in international journals and at
the American Association of Wine Economists.
