Christine Hutchison was appointed head field hockey and women’s lacrosse coach at Eastern Connecticut State University in the summer of 2006.

Hutchison is in her ninth year with the field hockey program, having served as an assistant coach in 2004 and 2005 before being appointed head coach.

As a collegian, Hutchison played four seasons (1996-99) of field hockey at Division III University of Mary Washington, where she was named to the STX/NFHCA Division III All-South Region team and to the NFHCA North-South Senior All-Star Game as a senior midfielder in 1999. At Mary Washington, Hutchison was also a two-time, first-team All-Capital Athletic Conference all-star and graduated as the program’s all-time leader with 24 assists. As a senior captain in the fall of 1999, Hutchison led the team in points (26) and assists (12).

A certified high school field hockey and lacrosse official, Hutchison earned her B.S. Degree in Math from Mary Washington.

Hutchison and her husband, Joe, were married on June 23, 2007 and reside in Preston with daughters Megan and Sarah.
