Coach Bierly: “Shannon is probably one of our best athletes who plays bigger than 5-10. She’s very athletic, as far as herjumping ability and rebounding ability. For her, it’s just getting comfortable within the offense and defense and understanding things. She needs to come off the bench and spark us with her athletic ability and hopefully score and play defense and rebound. Right now, we’re looking for consistency from her, but I think that’s normal for a freshman.”
