Career Statistics through 2010/11

Among three three-year letterwinners in the program... tri-captain... has appeared in all possible 87 games in his career... ranks first among active players in career games (tied), rebounds and blocks, and is second in starts, minutes, points, three-pointers, FT pct., assists and steals... needs 163 points to become the fourth player to score 1,000 points under current head coach Bill Geitner...

Coach Geitner: “Jamie’s a four-year player, a senior, and a captain who provides a lot of energy for us on the court. He was the leading rebounder in the conference last year, and we expect a similar performance this year. We’re expecting Jamie to rebound for us, score, and  take care of the ball. He’s got good size, can knock down the perimeter shot, and can  score inside. We’re excited and expect great things from Jamie in his senior year.”

2010/11: One of two players to start all 31 games and averaged 11.0 points and a team-leading 9.1 rebounds with a 73.3 FT pct. ... led the LEC in rebounding average and defensive rebounds for the second straight season and was third in offensive rebounds and seventh in minutes... named to the LEC All-Defensive Team and to the Eastern Tip-Off all-tournament team... academically, was a first-team CoSIDA All-District College Division choice and qualified for the LEC Academic Honor Roll and for an Eastern/E-Club Outstanding Scholar-Athlete Award...  was the only Eastern player recognized with a weekly award when he was named Player-of-the-Week Jan. 17 when he averaged a double-double (19 pts., 10 rebs.) and shot 61.5 percent from the floor in two conference victories... earned all-tournament honors at the Eastern Tip-Off with29 points and 21 rebounds... had the 12 highest rebounding games of any player on the team, with a career-high 18 coming Nov. 29 against Conn College... totalled a career-best 23 points (along with 14 rebounds) Jan. 15 against Southern Maine... recorded  team-high 12 double-doubles, with eight of them coming in the first 15 games...  was 8-for-11 FG with 18 points and 13 rebounds Jan. 2 against Caltech...  had four double-doubles in five straight games heading into the ECAC tournament title game...  season-highs (p-r-a-3s): 23-18-5-3

 

2009/10: One of four players to start all 30 games... averaged 9.8 points and a team-high 7.9 rebounds and shot .447 fromt he floor and .621 from the foul line... only the second Eastern player in 24 years of LEC play to top the conference in rebounding (first since Billy Reau in 2001/02)... named to the LEC weekly honor roll Feb. 15after leading the Warriors to wins over Keene State and UMass Dartmouth... in those two games, had 40 points and 22 rebounds and was 17-of-26 from the floor... eight times totalled double figures in points and rebounds... led or shared the team lead in rebounding a team-high 19 times.. shared the conference lead in defensive rebounds and was fourth in offensive rebounds... posted the top two rebounding games with 17 Feb. 2 at Wesleyan and 15 at Bridgewater... . in three ECAC tournament games, shot .545 from the floor and averaged 13.7 points and a team-best 8.0 rebounds... earned a spot on the LEC All-Academic team...season-highs (p-r-a-3s): 21-17-7-2...

2008/09: One of four players to appear in every game... led team in offense, defensive and total rebounds and rebounding average... ranked sixth in the LEC in FG pct. ... opened home career by earning a spot on the Eastern Tip-Off all-tournament team... season-highs (p-r-a-3s): 22-12-5-2

Career-highs (thru 10/11): 44 min., 23 pts., 18 rebs., 7 assists, 4 blocks, 5 steals, three 3-pters. ...

High School: Two-year starter in the basketball program… averaged 20.8 points and 10.4 rebounds last year at Coventry, leading the Patriots to the 14-team NCCC regular-season and playoff titles, 24 consecutive wins and a final overall record of 24-1…as a senior, was a first-team CHSCA Class S All-State selection and MVP of the CHSCA Senior All-Star Game after averaging 22 points and 11 rebounds… named all-academic three times and to the Class S Academic All-state team as a senior… selected Coventry’s Male scholar-athlete of the year… graduated a member of the Honor Society and 3rd in his class… scored 963 points in three-year varsity career with nearly 600 rebounds… high honors student..
