Career statistics through 2010/11

Two-year letterwinner and one-year starter... among active players, ranks second in career assists, third in minutes, FT pct. and starts and  tied for fourth in games...

Coach Geitner :.“Joey’s a junior now, he’s started for two years as our point guard; we’re looking for more good things from Joe, as far as distributing the basketball, having a positive assist to turnover ratio and also scoring a little.”

2010/11: Took over as the starting point guard, appearing in all 31 games and starting all but one... averaged 5.6 points2.6 rebounds and 2.0 assists and shot 72.3 percent from the floor... came off the bench to play 31 minutes in the game he did not start... in a one-point win over Plymouth State in the first round of the LEC tournament, scored a career-high 17 points (career-high four three-pointers) with just one turnvoer in a career-high 36 minutes... four times, played 19 or more minutes without a turnover... qualified for the LEC Academic Honor Roll in his first season of eligiblity... season-highs (p-r-a-3s): 17-7-5-4...

2009/10: A point guard who saw time in 25 games, with one start... averaged 2.1 points and 1.2 rebounds and shot .439 from the floor and .560 from the foul line...

averaged 3.1 turnovers per 40 minutes... saw significnt time in 11 games,  including a season-high 33 minutes in a +74-65 ot win at UMass Boston... had a season-high 13 points (one of two double-digit games) and season-high four assists with just one turnover in that LEC win and converted his only three-pointers (2) of the season.... appeared in all three ECAC tournament games, totalling six points and four rebounds in 42 minutes... played 18 minutes of both the semifinal and final tournament games... season-highs (p-r-a-3s): 13-4-4-2

Career-highs (thru 10/11): 37 min., 17 pts., 7 rebs., 5 assists, 1 blocks, 3 steals, four 3-pters.

High School: Four-year member of basketball team and senior captain…senior member of All-State team and two-time all-conference selection…led the team in scoring and assists as a senior… helped his team win two conference championships in undefeated fashion… achieved honor roll distinction throughout…

Other: In the summer of 2011, played in the Mike Jones league and worked in the Wins for Life program..
