This year as one of our captains and leaders, we need him to be a little bit more consistent. But I think over his first three years he’s demonstrated he can be one of the best post players in the conference.”
2009/10: Started every game for the second straight year, averaging 8.2 points and 3.6 rebounds and shooting .498 from the floor and .508 from the foul line... conference leader in blocks (37) and ranked third in blocks per game (1.2)... blocked five shots in a game four times, three times in a five-game span midway through the season... top field goal-shooting performances included 11-of-15 vs. Trinity, 9-of-12 vs. Rhode Island College, 13-of-19 vs. Southern Maine and 7-of-11 vs. Keene State... in the +77-69 LEC victory over Southern Maine Jan. 16, totaled a career-high 31 points and tied his career-highs of nine rebounds and five blocked shots in 33 minutes... the 31 points were the second-most in a game by an Eastern player during the season... improved his FT percentage by .121 from his sophomore year... ... ...in three ECAC tournament games, averaged 6.0 points and 4.3 rebounds with two bocked shots and a .538 shooting percentage... in the +75-71 semifinal win over Becker, scored 13 points (5-of-6 FG/3-of-3 FT) with three assists and a blocked shot... season-highs (p-r-a-b): 31-9-4-5...
2008/09: Assumed a starting role for the first time... only player to start every game... led the club in FG pct. and blocked shots and was 3rd in rebounding... rated third in the LEC in FG pct., tied for 6th in blocks and tied for 8th in offensive rebounding... named to the Eastern Tip-Off Tournament all-tournament team with 24 points (11-for-17 FG) and 11 rebounds... shot 8-for-10 frm the floor in a Jan. 3 loss to homestanding U. of New England in the final of the UNE tournament...was 60.0 percent from the floor in 13 games... had 12 of his 18 blocked shots in one ten-game stretch... season-highs (p-r-a-b): 19-9-2-3
2007/08: Joined four others as first-year varsity letterwinners... along with Courtney Simmons, was one of two "true" freshmen to receive a varsity letter... appeared in 23 games off the bench, averaging 12.1 minutes and totalling 75 points and 33 rebounds... scored six points with a season-high five rebounds in 12 minutes in his debut in the season-opener... enjoyed his most productive game in the third game of the season -- a 65-54 home loss to Trinity... had a season-high 12 points (6-for-10 FGs) and tied his season high of five rebunds.. season-highs (p-r-a-b): 12-5-1-3
