Played two seasons of baseball (2007 and 2008) at the University of Connecticut before transferring to Eastern in the fall of 2008…  at UConn, was 2-1-1 with a 5.89 ERA in 33 2/3 innings with 21 strikeouts and 16 walks for the Huskies, who were 61-55 in those two seasons…

Coach Holowaty: “Will is one of our key players this year who has to be the out-front pitcher to set the table for us. Hopefully, he’s going to have another great year. His sights are high this year.”

High School: Four-year starter of baseball team and three-year starter of basketball team… named to all conference team all four seasons… also, named to all state team, all region team and was a 3rd team all America selection… helped team to three consecutive conference championships, as well as state runner-up in ’05… posted a 0.97 ERA (0.67 career) and a .497 batting avg. (.468 career) during senior season… captained team to a 16-6 final record…
