Enrolled at Eastern in the fall of 2008 after two seasons at the University of Connecticut-Avery Point...

Coach Holowaty: “Chris has been stepping up this year and was the most improved player in the fall.  This year he has been working hard and has been playing well in a lot better shape.  He has to be a key person for us and he will be playing outfield while Jimmy (Schult) is pitching.  He will hopefully get some time and will step up to reach his capabilities as a player.”

Previous school: Played baseball during the 2007 and 2008 seasons at UCAP … led the Pointers to consecutive NJCAA Region 21 championships… in 2008, batted .380 with seven HRs and 45 RBI and was named team MVP… in 2007, batted .350 with six HRs and 25 RBI…

High School: Four-year member and two-year starter of baseball and basketball programs… classmate of Eastern pitcher Chris Wojick… in baseball, named team MVP, all-area and all conference in senior season as a member of a 24-2 state championship and conference division championship teams… teammate of Wojick and Eastern sophomore pitcher Mitch Furber on that team... batted .407 as a senior, .375 in his career… senior basketball captain…
