Coach Holowaty: "Taylor is a raw pitcher who throws a heavy ball. He has got a good arm, but has got to step up in his skill level and could be a factor sometime in our program."

High School : Four-year baseball letterwinner as a pitcher and outfielder …  

Previous School:  At Mitchell College in the spring of 2010, appeared in 14 games with 12 starts for the 17-13 Mariners… batted .190 (8-for-42) with six runs and five RBI… fielded at .923 on 13 chances… as a pitcher, was 0-1 with a 54.00 ERA in 1 1/3 innings in two relief appearances… Mitchell was 10-5 in the conference during the regular season and was declared co-champion of the New England Collegiate Conference tournament with a 3-1 record in the double-elimination tournament… 

Other: Played four seasons with the Jewett City American Legion team, helping them to a share of the zone championship…
