Coach Holowaty :  “Mitch is a sophomore second baseman, who has a great attitude and  is working hard. He’s one of our keys to middle defense. Once again, he needs to get physically stronger to play at another level for us this year. "

High School: Four-year baseball starter at shortstop who also played basketball for three years…as a senior  captain in baseball, All-State and CHSCA All-Star Game selections… two-time all-conference pick and team MVP in baseball… earned  scholar-athlete  honors all four years… member of conference championship team in each of final two years and starter on team as a junior which reached the Class “M” final…


Other: Played for Ellington/Somers American Legion team last summer…
