
Mike Perry takes over as pitching coach on the staff of 43rd-year head coach Bill Holowaty.
Since 2005, Perry has been employed as a pitching instructor with Swanson Professional Baseball Instruction in West Hartford, where he has taught fundamentals and advanced technical skills development. For the past three years, Perry has served as head coach at the AAU level with the West Hartford-based Connecticut Tide.
A Manchester native, Perry is a former four-year starting pitcher at Division II Post University in Waterbury, where he helped the Eagles compile a 93-85 record between 2007 and 2010 and qualify for one ECAC and one Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) tournaments. In 2009, he set a program season record with a 1.95 ERA.
