Coach Holowaty: “Greg is one of our top four pitchers who can be better than he was last year. Each year, he has been improving, and we are expecting him to have a bust-out year this year."

High School: Played baseball and basketball for four years… two-sport all-conference pick and CHSCA All-Star Game as a senior in baseball... named to all-area baseball team by batting .420 with 37 hits, three HRs, 30 RBI and featuring a 5-1 pitching record with 82 strikeouts... team MVP in baseball as a senior captain and team MVP in basketball twice… pitched and played third base in baseball… member of conference baseball title team as a sophomore… 3.70 GPA...


Other: Pitched and played third base for the Mystic Schooners of the New England Collegiate Baseball League in the summer of 2012... as a pitcher for 9-31 team, appeared in 11 games out of the bullpen with 22 strikeouts and 14 walks and a 7.36 ERA in 14 2/3 innings... did not have a decision or save... fielded at 1.000 on 14 chances...  batted .179 (5-for-28) with a home run, seven RBI and five runs... four-year member of New London American Legion team which won two zone championships...
