Attended Division III DeSales University in 2007-08 and played baseball on the 2008 Freedom Conference champions and NCAA tournament qualifiers… spot starter who started six of the 11 games in which he appeared… was 2-3 with a 4.93 ERA in 38 1/3 innings… struck out nine and walked 20… started the team’s 3-0 NCAA tournament-opening loss to the College of New Jersey at Riverfront Stadium in Newark, NJ… allowed five hits and all three (earned) runs in four innings, fanning one and walking three…
