Prior to transferring to Eastern in the fall of 2008, played the 2008 season at Litle East Conference opponent Massachusetts Boston... appeared in three games off the bench, going 1-for-1 (single) with a sacrifice fly and RBI...

COACH HOLOWATY: "Dave is a tough-nosed kid and a vicious competitor who will play third base for us."

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year member and three-year starter on baseball team and three-year member of the basketball team… captained baseball team senior year and was named to all conference academic team for the second time… named to the all conference second team in baseball final two seasons…also, received the coaches award as baseball team MVP as a junior and senior… led baseball team to a final record of 17-5 as a senior … helped team reach the state tournament all four years while accumulating a overall 58-22 record in his four seasons… in senior season, team received a first round bye in the state tournament and reached the quarterfinals…held a career batting average of .357 including .416 in junior season… holds the school record for most consecutive times reaching base (22)… in basketball, averaged 14.6 pts in senior season… academically, member of the honor roll all four years… also received the Best in Business/ Law academic award…

OTHER: This past summer played for the Bethlehem (CT) Plowboys in the Tri-State League…
