May move from right field to the vacant center field position and return as a left-handed-hitting leadoff hitter… one of six seniors on this year’s team and one of three four-year members of the progam.. ranks among the top three among active players in most career categories… boasts the third-best career batting avg. (.339) and fielding avg. (.985) among returnees and second-highest slugging avg. (.552) and tied for third in extra-base hits (24)… leads active players in career triples (13) and stolen bases (14)… ranks in a tie for third all-time in triples, six behind the leader…

COACH HOLOWATY: "Ish ad an outstanding year as a junior. I sure hope he can follow up with his senior year. He has become more of an all-around player and an all-around person. He will be one of our catalyst for our team; he gets on base and makes things happen. I've been very pleased how he has responded and improved as a person."  

LAST YEAR: Spent most all of the season as the team’s starting rightfielder and leadoff hitter… made 36 of his 38 starts in right and was the leadoff hitter 32 times... team’s Most Improved Player… regional tournament all-tournament selection… in four games, shared the team lead with a .500 batting avg. (9-for-18) and led the team in runs (8)…  had four hits and scored twice in the regional tournament-opening 10-2 win over Saint Joseph’s (ME)… set a program record with 12 triples, with six of them coming in an eight-game span early in the northern trip… ranked third nationally in Division III in triples per game (0.25)… led the Little East Conference in triples and ranked fifth in runs (42) and total bases (90)… contributed at least two hits 15 times, with four of the mulitiple-hit games coming in post-season play… had at least one hit in all four regional games and in the opening game of the national tournament… ended April on a career-high nine-game hitting streak that improved his average to .364…  

AS A SOPHOMORE:  Appeared in a varsity game for the first time, coming off the bench in each game that he appeared… had his first two career hits (2-for-2) and first RBI in the home-opener March 28 vs. Westfield State… appeared in five post-season tournament games - the final ones in the LEC tournament… had an at-bat, strikeout and putout… 

HIGH SCHOOL:  Three-year starter in baseball who also played basketball for one season…all-conference as a junior in baseball…centerfielder who also pitched and played first base… captain senior year when he helped team qualify for the state tournament… played under Eastern alumnus Paul Winiarski...
