Entering 2008: Junior two-year member of the program who is one of eight returning first-year letterwinners from a year ago… one of six catchers on the pre-season roster, but the only one with experience at Eastern… has backed up graduated Matt Cooney behind the plate in each of the last two years…

LAST YEAR: Played in a season-high 13 games with two starts, serving mainly as a late-inning replacement… saw action in three games on the spring trip, seven games up north, two Little East Conference tournament games, and one regional contest… in his first career start in the third game of the year March 17 at the University of La Verne, threw out a runner attempting to steal for the first time in the fourth inning… did not commit an error over his last 11 appearances… scored his first career run against Buena Vista University March 24 in the final game of the spring trip, had his first career hit in his second start April 19 against visiting Worcester State College, and drove in his only run May 1 against visiting Stevens Tech…

HIGH SCHOOL : Four-year member of the baseball team and two-year varsity starting catcher…as a senior captain, was team MVP, all-league and all-state…had a .360 career batting average with a .440 his senior year…also received all-academic team honors two years…three-year member of the East Haven Post American Legion Team…
