Mike Grant joins the staff in 2013 as an assistant to head coach Bill Holowaty.


Grant brings 20 years of baseball coach experience to the program, having served most recently as head coach at Glastonbury High School for six years and with the Glastonbury American Legion for seven.


The Glastonbury resident has also served as head and assistant coach with the Manchester American Legion program .


Grant played baseball at Stonehill College after a three-year high school career at Penny High School in East Hartford -- where he captained the the 1983 Class “LL” state championship team, gaining first-team all-conference honors in the process – and one hear at Wilbraham Monson Academy, where he was named first-team All-Western New England.


Grant holds a B.A. Degree in Communication from Stonehill.
