Nominating Process

Eastern’s Alumni Association Board of Directors Nominating Committee is actively seeking names of alumni interested in serving on the Board of Directors. We are looking for a diverse slate consistent with our student and alumni populations. Self-nominations are encouraged. The board is composed of a maximum of 18 directors. Nominees must be an active member of the Alumni Association by having made a gift to the university’s Annual Fund since July 1, 2011.

The Office of Alumni Affairs looks to the Board of Directors to review and provide input alumni programs and outreach efforts to engage alumni in the life of the university. The Alumni Association Board also serves and involves Eastern alumni and students in the preservation of the university’s image, tradition, pride and status as Connecticut’s designated public liberal arts university. Members of the board also serve as advocates and ambassadors in support of the mission, values and policies of the ECSU Alumni Association.
