Biology; I plan on transitioning into Neurology after my four years.

What would you like to get involved with at Eastern?
Intramural basketball and any art clubs

Madison LemireWhen did you know Eastern was the university for you?
Going on to the campus and being in such a welcoming environment, meeting other people that are incoming freshmen and seeing how kind they were. I had a sense of belonging, and that Eastern could really help me grow.

What is one thing you will bring to campus?
Physically? Lots of pictures from back home and a camera to take loads more. Mentally? A new perspective, I hope.

What is an interesting fact about you?
I competed in skills USA Rhode Island for web design, won first place, and got to go to Louisville Kentucky for nationals. I met people from around the country, and am still close friends with some of the people I met there.

Tara Nguyen smallWhat do you plan to study at Eastern and why?
I plan to study Sociology because I am very interested in learning more about society as a whole and the way people interact with one another. I find it fascinating the way we work in society despite our individuality and independence.

What is an interesting fact about you?
An interesting fact about me is that I know every lyric from every High School Musical song ever.

What made Eastern unique from other universities you were interested in?
When I first stepped onto campus, I knew Eastern was the one for me. With such a small campus, it's practically impossible to get lost (practically, though; I will definitely get lost considering the fact that I lack any sense of direction). Its small size makes for a tight-knit community that is unlike any other. At Eastern, every student is special, and each student has an equal opportunity to succeed.

Ryan TarkoWhat do you plan to study at Eastern and why?
At Eastern I will be studying communication and business marketing because I am a very outgoing person and loved my communications marketing internship during my senior year of high school!

What excites you most about your future life at Eastern?
The welcoming Eastern community and endless opportunities that come with a liberal arts education make me very eager to move onto campus in the fall!

What is an interesting fact about you?
I speak fluent Hungarian!

Julia CalusineWhat do you plan to study at Eastern and why?
Psychology, I have always been interested in psychology since I was younger and after taking psych classes in high school. I knew I wanted to learn more and pursue it as a career.

What are your interests?
Music and theatre. I am a percussionist in band have also done theatre since a very young age.

Why are you awesome?
Because I am from northern Wisconsin which means I can survive -20 degree weather like its nothing.

Some of my interests include Dance, Choreographing, Soccer, and Technology

What made Eastern unique from other universities you were interested in?
It provided me with exactly what I wanted to experience and achieve throughout my four years of college. Its location, along with the staff and student body are things that are very valuable to the university that I am a big fan of. The culture that the university embodies is incomparable.


What excites you most about Eastern?
The awesome student body and the many activities that Eastern has to offer

Eastern is unique because it was the only campus that I loved from the minute I stepped foot on campus. Eastern was the perfect fit for me and I knew it right away.

What excites you most about your future life at Eastern?
Being surrounded by people who have worked hard to accomplish their goals and will continue to do so.

Why are you awesome?
I am awesome because I genuinely care about other people. I want to create change in the world, even if it is just something to make one person happy.
