Fall 2013 Transfer SOAR Dates

Transfer students with less than 60 completed credits at the time of entry to Eastern will participate in SOAR, and the Fall Warrior Welcome program in August before begining the fall semester.

SOAR (Student Orientation, Advisement & Registration) is a one-day orientation program in the summer designed to introduce all new students to life at Eastern while offering the opportunity to meet other incoming students, current student leaders, faculty and staff. 

Incoming students are invited to attend a SOAR session by their program of study.

Students interested in the Education Certification Program will attend the session designed for their academic major (Example: If you are a Secondary Education/Mathematics major, you would register for Mathematics). If you are a Pre-Education student without an identified subject major, you will need to identify subject/content field interest and register on the appropriate date. There will be an education certification information session during the day for clusters A, B, and C.
