Understanding Eastern’s Liberal Arts — Sessions at 1, 2 & 3 p.m.
Curriculum and First -Year Program
Goddard Hall, Room 100,
Media Center, Rooms 103 or 145
First-time freshmen and their parents are invited to attend one of the sessions to learn how Eastern’s liberal arts mission comes to life through the innovative First-Year Program and integrated liberal arts core curriculum. This session will address the importance of attending a liberal arts college and the advantages of participating in the First-Year Program. Academic Advisement Center staff will offer step-by-step guidance for completing the fall 2008 preference registration process. Visit Media Center Room 101 to meet one-on-one with First-Year Program staff.

Meet Your Residence Hall Director — 3 p.m.
Residence Halls
Report to the lobby of the residence hall you have been assigned for the fall 2008 semester to meet the Hall Director and other students with whom you will be residing in the fall. An information session will be offered along with time for questions and answers. If you are uncertain of your assignment or would like to reserve a residence hall space, visit the Housing staff at the Information and Activities Fair in the Tipton Room prior to the 3 p.m. session.
Campus Tours — 2 - 4 p.m.
Library Clock Tower
Tour Eastern’s expanding facilities with a current student. Guided campus tours are available between 2 – 4 p.m. for students and families who have not previously toured the campus. Guided tours take approximately 45 minutes.
