Peer Mentoring Program

The main focus of this program is to assist students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other disabilities in improving and further developing communication and social skills while adjusting to a new environment. Identified students will have the opportunity to form peer connections and work on targeted skills. The mentors of this program consist of undergraduate Psychology students/interns, who are trained and supervised throughout the program. Mentors and mentees meet weekly to develop appropriate social skills, which may enhance students’ experiences as they transition to college life.
