Australia

Australia

Visual arts faculty have led a longstanding global field course to Australia, where students develop their drawing and painting skills as they observe stunning landscapes. Accompanied by biology students from Central Connecticut State University, this interdisciplinary trip and ecologically-diverse country satisfies the research needs of budding scientists as well. Students visit the cultural mecca of Sydney, the kangaroos and emus of Warrumbungles, Ayers Rock (the largest single rock in the world), and other sites.
